The depressing news aggregates, editorializes and reports news relating to digital and analog civil rights and their decline in modern times.

I started this site because I noticed that even the people around me that care about these topics had a hard time keeping up with news from countries other than the US and maybe the UK. So my main aim is to bring you depressing news from around the world, accessible in the lingua franca of the net. Even if english quite obviously isn’t my mother tongue.

Please keep in mind, despite parodying a TV news network, this is a blog, written by amateurs, in the best sense of the word.

The main goals for this endeavor are:
